I want to share my belief's with you. I don't want to be corrected, ridiculed, or judged; I would never put anyone down for their principles and I hope to receive the same respect.
I believe there is guidance in this chaos. That we are not alone to fend for ourselves.
I believe there are forces that are unseen and unexplainable. Something out there to calm our spirit and bring peace after each storm.
I want to believe that there is good in all people. That the bad things we do or say come from insecurity, fear, ignorance, misunderstanding and/or misinformation. I do not want to live in a world where I have to second guess everyone's actions and conversations, looking for ulterior motives or calculated moves.
I believe, with understanding and perspective, every problem has a solution. The passing of time can be the simplest answer and yet the hardest pill to swallow. Trust is the most difficult objective but the most beneficial.
I believe religion exists to help those who crave a sense of community, a safe place to belong and share values. I do not believe organized religion should encourage, or demand any human to treat others with anything less than acceptance and love.
I believe morals can be taught and hate or discrimination can be untaught. With every failure or disappointment we can grow and change for the better.
I believe we all need to be loved and we all want to love. Its the foundation of all things, right down to loving oneself which can be the toughest relationship of all.
I believe there is a balance between good and evil. Even when it seems the scales tip to one side more than the other, there is a counterweight that will appear when you least expect it.
I believe faith is a necessity for everyone. To have faith is to never be truly alone.
I believe hope is as dangerous as it is essential.
With these belief's I am able to wake up each morning and move forward. I make decisions based on my confidence of right and wrong.
My advice... follow your heart and trust your instincts. Give generously whenever possible whether its time, money or knowledge. And lastly, don't take anything or anyone for granted.

Thanks Colleen!! I get nervous when I write about certain topics - never know what the reception might be. You understood my intent and I can’t tell you how appreciative I am of your comment 💗
In these unsettled, scary times faith goes a long way. Thanks for lending me a set of booster cables and some hints so I can hook them up right. I needed that!
