Lucky, I Guess š¤·āāļø

Would you call it luck when you get the closest parking spot at the grocery store during a thunder storm? Is it luck if you slip down a few stairs and catch yourself before actually falling or dropping anything? How about when your cell phone falls out of your hands while you're taking a bath and instead of landing in the bath water, it lands on your leg, above the water?
I don't know where luck ends and divine intervention begins. My actions and reactions are a big part of every outcome but sometimes it can feel like the world is against me. For instance, that one time I was in the Azores Islands of Portugal, on vacation with my husband and my in-laws. My stomach was not doing so well, pretty sure they call it Travelers Diarrhea. We stopped at a cafe that looked like someone's house, in the middle of nowhere. They had a stand alone toilet in a closet. This windowless space was so small that you couldn't extend your arms in either direction and the sink was outside of the room. The ceiling height was roughly 10ft and there was no light switch, just a motion detector in the top corner. After sitting for roughly 30 seconds, taking care of my business as quietly as possible, the lights went out. I started flailing my arms but I was too short for the sensor. Every half minute, I had to stop mid-poop, to stand up and wave at the ceiling for the lights to come back on.
Would the Water Closet fiasco be seen as unlucky? Technically, I could have ended up relieving myself on the side of the road, so at least there was a place with indoor plumbing. Was I unlucky to have diarrhea while on vacation or should I consider myself lucky that I can laugh at the situation?
