My Personal List of Pet Peeves

There is no particular order... I find each item of this list irritating.

  • Mosquito or Bug Bites specifically on my knee, ankle bone, or the heels of my feet

  • The sound of someone's jaw closing when they eat

  • Ruining the top coat of my nail polish

  • Commercials (which is why I do not watch regular cable TV anymore - EVER)

  • Being Late whether its an appointment or a payment

  • When people don't do as they say

  • Wet Socks - can't stand the feeling and I would rather walk around barefoot

  • The texture of foods like water chestnuts and tapioca pudding

  • When people misuse 'Your' and 'You're'

  • Dirty Toilets (no need for an explanation)

  • The words 'moist' or 'pre-pubescent' (thank you, Criminal Minds, for that last one)

  • Bra's

  • Heat, directed at my face, in a car, during winter

  • Air Conditioning, directed at my feet, in a car, during summer

  • Drunk people dancing to "Cotton-Eye Joe", "Pour Some Sugar On Me", and "Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy"

  • The bottom or sleeves of T-Shirts curling up

  • My thick wiry chin hairs

  • Arguing with someone who WANTS to argue, like that was the goal all along

  • Getting dressed when I'm on the chunky side

  • My Menstrual Cycle

  • Hair regrowth in the bikini area

  • Spilling sugar

  • Anything getting stuck in my eye(s)

  • When McDonald's forgets my Sweet and Sour Sauce for my nuggets

  • Stubbing my toe, especially first thing in the morning

  • Every vehicle my husband has ever owned (except his dad's truck, I liked that one)

  • Talking to stupid people

  • Counting calories

  • The alarm clock going off

  • People who pretend to care

  • Food getting stuck in my teeth

  • Wearing glasses in the rain

  • When people stand too close to me

  • People who assume the worst and complain all the time

I'm sure I am missing a few but the list can always be updated 😋
