Rookie Blue and No Name Chips

My in-laws don't have Netflix, they keep things simple and they hardly, if ever, watch TV. For this reason, I am so glad we brought the entire series of Rookie Blue. I have done my best to stay busy by cleaning the area's that we occupy and making food when possible. When things seem to slow down and there really is nothing else for me to do, I steal the TV and grab a bag of No Name Chips (BBQ is too spicy so I stick to All Dressed). My goal is to make it to the end of the Quarantine Period before I finish the series - odds are that won't happen (5 seasons and I am already starting Season 3).

On Day 8 of the Isolation Order, we received an automated voice message recording to thank us for following the rules and keeping up with our Quarantine. The message was in English and repeated in French. My favorite part of the recording was the operator's excitement when she said 'you are more than half way through'. I wonder if we'll get a balloon bouquet on Day 14th? Or a Thank You banner across the sky?

Here's my two-day report:

• A bird died today... Odie keeps her windows so clean that the poor thing didn't stand a chance. It flew with full force into the glass and broke its neck 😢.

• Odie is making Bacalhau (Portuguese Cod Dish). For some strange reason the smell wafting from the kitchen reminds me of popcorn!?

• Last night, sleeping in the trailer, I had a nightmare that Kevin and I were stabbed to death by a masked murderer. It was a hospital mask, I didn't admit that part to Kevin or my in-laws because I didn't want them to laugh at me, it was a very scary dream.

• We sat out by the fire the other night and enjoyed conversation and a few laughs.

I have no complaints about my surroundings or the people we are (socially distant) with. It's a strange situation but we are on the home stretch. Odie brought home pizza for dinner tonight and more chips! I have some more Rookie Blue to watch, Luke just cheated on McNally even if it was during his undercover assignment and Epstein was stuck on a booby-trap in a Meth Lab but don't worry, the bomb squad got him out safely 👌
